Martha Hoverson is a blessing to us at 1st Parish. We couldn't have a better Interim Minister. She is anxious to work with us. Her first 2 sermons have been right on target for me. Thanks Martha for taking us as your Church.

It has been a long time since I have attended the church. I was born and rasied in Freeport and attended church through the 50's and 60's. Mr. Day was the pastor at that time. I was baptized in the church and became a member in my early teen's. I attended Sunday school and youth group with Archie and Lois Dennison as teachers.
I now live in Hancock Maine. My mom also lives near by in Ellsworth. She was a sunday school teacher and very active in the church in Freeport. She was also born and raised in Freeport. She visits Freeport at least twice a year and plans on attending one of your worship services. She is very active in the Congregational church in Ellsworth.
It is so nice to be able to view a picture of the church. The website is wonderful for folks who have moved away and still want to reach out to a small piece of home.

Hello Everyone -
I know that it has been a long time since Aaron and I (and Matthew - now 2.5 yrs. and Emily 9 mo.) have been to Freeport for Worship. Although we have joined a church in Auburn, our heart will always be with First Parish Church Congregational where John married us and we had Matthew baptized. We are so happy to see you up on the web!
We hope to be at a service sometime soon!

First off, I agree with Steve...please remember that everyone in the WORLD & possibly the GALAXY can see what you post here :)

-PHOTOS: please send photos to Kevin & I at webmaster@freeportucc.org. Right now we have only ONE photo in the photo section & we would love to have more. So take pictures at various events & then send them on...I'm sure everyone would love to see them! Please be sure to include a caption to go with the picture.

Messages that you leave hear are posted here. If you update your email and other information, which is a really good idea because we can now update our database this way, I am notified and then I forward it to Lin who can make changes. We will be sending our weekly email newsletter out via this site, so hopefully we have switched over everyone's email address to this list.
